In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Gregorio A Manglicmot, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sanggllniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 97 (Series of 2003)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF TWENTY THOUSAND PESOS (PHP20,OOO.OO) TO THE ITEM SUBSCRIPTION EXPENSE UNDER MAINTENANCE AND OTHER OPERATING EXPENSES OF THE CITY PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICE

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Twenty Thousand Pesos (PhP20,00000) is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Balance of the General Fund, not otherwise appropriated and the same is hereby made available to the item Subscription Expense under Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses of the City Planning and Development Office for the subscription of periodicals covering the period July to December 2003.

SECTION 2. This appropriation Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of Honorable City Mayor Katherine H. Gordon, dated August 18, 2003, letter request of Ms. Elizabeth S. Zavalla, City Planning and Development Coordinator, dated August 18,2003 and the Certificate of Availability of Funds dated August 19, 2003 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
