In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor John Carlos G. delos Reyes, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 36
(Series of 2008)

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO. 32, SERIES OF 2001 OTHERWISE KNOWN AS “AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES RELATED TO THE OPERATION OF “FOR HIRE” PUBLIC UTILITY JEEPNEYS IN THE CITY OF OLONGAPO AND ESTABLISHING THE NORMS FOR OPERATION OF SUCH APPLICABLE TO THE PRESENT TIME”

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 32, Series of 2001 as amended is hereby further amended by dividing the routes of JO8 (with 160 existing units) and JO9 (with 230 existing units) into two (2) routes of operation.

JO8 - 160 UNITS
JO9 - 230 UNITS

Will follow the route divisions stated below:

SECTION 2. No release of body numbers shall be allowed.

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
