RESOLUTION NO.  38

(Series of 2014)

A RESOLUTION COMMENDING MR. JOEL C. CURIANO FOR GARNERING THE 5^TH PLACE IN THE OCTOBER 2013 CIVIL SERVICE ELIGIBILITY EXAMINATION (SUB-PROFESSIONAL)

WHEREAS, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) officially released the results of  the October 2013 Civil Service Examination-Pencil and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) last November 27, 2013;

WHEREAS, out of almost 37,000 registered examinees for the Sub-Professional Level nationwide, Mr. Joel C. Curiano, a Computer Maintenance Technologist from the Office of the City Administrator, garnered the 5^th highest place among all the successful takers with a general weighted average of 88.03%;

WHEREAS, Mr. Curiano’s exceptional accomplishment is worth emulating by the employees of the city government, as his success promotes not only the professionalization in the civil service but also our public accountability as government employees;

NOW, THEREFORE,with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in the session assembled, to commend, as it hereby commends Mr. Joel C. Curiano for garnering the 5^th Place in the 2013 Civil service Eligibility Examination (Sub-Professional).

Let a copy of this Resolution be furnished to Mr. Joel C. Curiano for his record and reference.
