RESOLUTION NO. 173

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY MAYOR JAMES “BONG” GORDON, JR. TO ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH GENERAL AUGUSTO P. ANGCANAN, JR., DIRECTOR, PHILIPPINE NATIONAL POLICE CRIME LABORATORY (PNPCL), CAMP CRAME, QUEZON CITY FOR THE INSTITUTION OF A CRIME LABORATORY OFFICE IN THE CITY OF OLONGAPO AT JAMES L. GORDON MARKET AND MALL BUILDING


WHEREAS, the City Government of Olongapo envisions the importance of the institution of a crime laboratory in the city that is capable of providing technical support and forensic services to concerned investigating police units/stations;

WHEREAS, scientific analysis, examinations and findings of the laboratory examiners of the evidences will be conducted on the said laboratory;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to authorize, as it hereby authorizes City Mayor James “Bong” Gordon, Jr. to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with General Augusto P. Angcanan, Jr., Director, Philippine National Police Crime Laboratory (PNPCL), Camp Crame, Quezon City for the Institution of a Crime Laboratory Office in the City of Olongapo at James L. Gordon Market and Mall Building.
