ORDINANCE NO. 05
(Series of 2007)


AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF ONE BILLION SIX HUNDRED TWENTY TWO MILLION ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (PHP1,622,100,000.00) FOR THE BUDGET OF THE CITY OF OLONGAPO
FROM JANUARY 1, 2007 TO DECEMBER 31, 2007



BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED THAT:


SECTION 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7160,otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991 and the provisions of Local Budget Memorandum No. 50 issued by the Department of Budget and Management dated 27 June 2006, which specifically prescribes the guidelines to be observed in the preparation and submission of the annual budget for calendar year 2007, the amount of One Billion Six Hundred Twenty Two Million One Hundred Thousand Pesos (PhP1,622,100,000.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary is hereby appropriated for the General Fund Budget of the City Government of Olongapo for the Calendar Year 2007.


SECTION 2. The 2007 Annual Budget consisting of three hundred seventy five pages (375) submitted to and approved by the Sangguniang Panlungsod shall be made an integral part hereof.

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect from January 1 to December 31, 2007, inclusive.
