RESOLUTION NO. 34
(Series of 2007)

A RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) ENTERED INTO BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF OLONGAPO REPRESENTED BY MAYOR JAMES GORDON, JR. AND THE OLONGAPO BUSINESS CLUB,INC. REPRESENTED BY ITS PRESIDENT MR. SAMUEL DEL ROSARIO FOR KALYE KASIYAHAN FESTIVAL 2007.

WHEREAS, the City Mayor was authorized to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Olongapo Business Club, Inc. (OBC) through Resolution No. 28, Series of 2007 to organize Kalye Kasiyahan Festival 2007;

WHEREAS, the aforementioned summer activity under the Olongapo Business Club, Inc. is one of the effective promotional activities for the City tourism industry;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlungsod Members deem it proper to ratify the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA);

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Gina G. Perez, with unanimous accord of the Members of Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to ratify, as it is hereby ratifies the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) entered into by and between the City of Olongapo represented by Mayor James Gordon Jr. and the Olongapo Business Club, Inc. represented by its President Mr. Samuel del Rosario for Kalye Kasiyahan Festival 2007.

RESOLVED FURTHER, AS IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED, that a signed copy of the Memorandum of Agreement be made as an integral part of this Resolution.
