A RESOLUTION ACCREDITING OLONGAPO CITY GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES MULTI – PURPOSE COOPERATIVE, INC. FOR THE PURPOSE OF MEMBERSHIP IN LOCAL SPECIAL BODIES IN OLONGAPO CITY PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7160 OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE OF 1991


WHEREAS, Olongapo City Government Employees Multi – Purpose Cooperative is a People’s Organization accredited and licensed by the Cooperative Development Authority and operating in the City of Olongapo;

WHEREAS, Above organization applied to be accredited by Sangguniang Panlungsod for the purpose of membership in Local Special bodies in Olongapo City Pursuant to the provisions of Republic Act. No 7160 otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Edwin J. Piano, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to accredit as it hereby accredits Olongapo City Government Employees Multi – Purpose Cooperative for the purposes of membership in the various special bodies, provided under the Republic Act No. 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991;

Let copies of this resolution be furnished the Department of the Interior and Local Government, Field Office and the concerned organization for their information and guidance.
