A RESOLUTION CONFERRING THE “ULO NG APO CAREER ACHIEVEMENT AWARD OF EXCELLENCE” TO MR. PATRICK JOHN TIERRO, CURRENT NO. 1 TENNIS PLAYER OF THE PHILIPPINES AND A MEMBER OF THE RP DAVIES CUP TEAM

WHEREAS, the country’s top seed tennis player, Patrick John Tierro merits the admiration of the international tennis arena as he cruised smoothly for his 7 wins - 3 losses in the singles, 4 wins - 0 loss in the doubles and 11 wins – 3 losses in the appearances on the prestigious Davies Cup Tennis Tournament;

WHEREAS, one of our illustrious athletes who made the Philippines conquer the international tennis frontier, Tierro’s inhausted discipline, sportsmanship values and contagious winning spirit will serve as an inspiration to the young populace of the City to invest their time in worthwhile activities and make a positive difference in the lives of their peers;

WHEREAS, he made his home city prouder of his accomplishment and had proven that youthfulness is not a hindrance to success;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to confer, as it hereby confers the “Ulo Ng Apo Career Achievement Award Of Excellence” to Mr. Patrick John Tierro, current No. 1 tennis player of the Philippines and a member of the RP Davies Cup Team
