In the interest of the public service and on motion of Councilor Gina Gulanes-Perez, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 65
(Series of 2008)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF ONE MILLION SEVEN HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (PHP1,700,000.00) TO THE ITEM LAND TRANSPORTATION EQUIPMENT UNDER CAPITAL OUTLAY OF THE OFFICE OF THE CITY MAYOR SOURCED FROM THE PRIORITY DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE FUND (PDAF) FY 2008 BUDGET RA NO. 9498


BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of One Million Seven Hundred Thousand Pesos (PhP1,700,000.00) is hereby appropriated to the item Land Transportation Equipment under Capital Outlay of the Office of the City Mayor which will be sourced from the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) FY 2008 Budget RA No. 9498.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter-request of the Honorable City Mayor James Gordon Jr., dated 27 November 2008 and Special Allotment Release Order for Fiscal Year 2008 dated 07 May 2008 shall be made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
