RESOLUTION NO. 108

A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE OLONGAPO LOCAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL INDORSED FIVE-YEAR LOCAL INVESTMENT PLAN FOR CHILDREN (FOR THE YEARS 2012 TO 2016), IN A MANNER CONSISTENT WITH LAW

WHEREAS, the City of Olongapo has been a sincere advocate for long-term initiatives and reforms for the welfare of the youth/children which led to its consistent recognition as among the most child friendly cities both in the Regional and national levels;

WHEREAS, to ensure that there is a consistent, holistic and comprehensive development approach with respect to youth/child welfare, the Local Council for the Protection of Children of the City formulated a Local Investment Plan for Children which should be strengthened by means of adoption by the highest legislative body in the city;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Elena C. Dabu, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to adopt, as it hereby adopts the Olongapo Local Development Council Indorsed Five-Year Local Investment Plan for Children (For the Years 2012 to 2016), in a manner consistent with law.
