In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Gregorio A. Manglicmot, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 102 (Series of 2003)

AN ORDfNANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (PHP300,000.OO) TO THE ITEM REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE - MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER MAINTENANCE AND OTHER OPERATING EXPENSES OF THE OFFICE OF THE CITY ENGINEER

BE lT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Three Hundred Thousand Pesos (PhP300,OOOOO) is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Balance of the General Fund, not otherwise appropriated and the same is hereby made available to the item Repair and Maintenance - Motor Vehicle under Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses of the Office of the City Engineer to accommodate unexpected expenses for repair and maintenance of various motor vehicles.

SECTION 2. This appropriation Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of the Honorable City Mayor Katherine H. Gordon, dated August 28, 2003, letter request of Reymundo L. Guevara, Acting City Engineer, dated July 23, 2003 and the Cel1ificate of Availability of Funds dated September 2, 2003, issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
