RESOLUTION NO. 141
(Series of 2005)

A RESOLUTION INTERPOSING NO OBJECTION TO THE INSTALLATION
AND OPERATION OF GLOBE TELECOMMUNICATION, INC. (GLOBE)
CELLSITE/ GSM ANTENNA LOCATED AT NO. 3 RIZAL ST.,
PUROK 2, NEW CABALAN, OLONGAPO CITY
WHEREAS, Globe Telecommunication , Inc. (GLOBE) a corporation duly organized and existing under Philippine Laws, with principal office located at 5th Floor Globe Telecom Plaza, Pioneer Street, Mandaluyong City thru their official Site Acquisition Contractor Wireless Technical Services Asia, Inc. applied for permit to allow the construction, installation and operation of a Globe Cellular Antenna located at No. 3 Rizal St., Purok 2, New Cabalan, Olongapo City;

WHEREAS, with Globe’s well-known capability of providing world class telecommunication system that produces seamless cellular coverage and accessibility, residents and subscribers of Globe Telecom in the City and adjoining areas will be assured of uninterrupted link to personal and business communications;

WHEREAS, Olongapo Telecom and IT Board created under City Ordinance No. 24, Series of 2004 and Executive Order No. 84-A, Series of 2005 with its duties and
functions defined to implement Guidelines, Rules and Regulations under Sangguniang Panlungsod Resolution No. 13, Series of 2005;

WHEREAS, Wireless Technical Services Asia, Inc. have presented to the Olongapo Telecom and IT Board necessary documents that warrants the approval of the Board for them to proceed with their application and have accomplished other pertinent requirements for the approval of their application;

WHEREAS, Barangay New Cabalan, after public consultation and submission of signed neighbor’s consent, passed Resolution 16, Series of 2004, approving the said request and placed on record that no objection had been noted for the said construction;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Edwin J. Piano, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;
RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to interpose, as it hereby interposes no objection to the installation and operation of Globe Telecommunication, Inc. (GLOBE) Cellsite/GSM Antenna located at No. 3 Rizal St., Purok 2, New Cabalan, Olongapo City;

RESOLVED FURTHER, AS IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of the signed Memorandum of Agreement between the owner of the site and Wireless Technical Services Asia, Inc. shall be made an integral part of this Resolution.

Let a copy of this Resolution be furnished to Wireless Technical Services Asia, Inc., Globe Telecommunication, Inc. (GLOBE), SBMA Telecommunications Department and National Telecommunications Commission for their information and record.
