In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the majority decision of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 87
(Series of 2005)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF EIGHT HUDNRED THIRTY FIVE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY PESOS AND 55/100 (PHP835,750.55) TO COVER THE COST OF THE PROPOSED WELCOME
ARC PROJECT CHARGEABLE AGAINST THE PAGCOR FUND

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Eight Hundred Thirty Five Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Pesos and 55/100 (PhP835,750.55) is hereby appropriated to cover the cost of the proposed welcome arc project per Resolution No. 164, Series of 2005 chargeable against PAGCOR Funds.

SECTION 2. This appropriation Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of Honorable James Gordon, Jr., dated November 17, 2005 and the Certificate of Availability of Funds dated December 05, 2005 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
