RESOLUTION NO. 31
(Series of 2006)

A RESOLUTION OF CONDOLENCES TO THE BEREAVED FAMILY OF MR. ERNESTO DELA CRUZ AND RECOGNIZING HIS VALUABLE CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE CITY OF OLONGAPO

WHEREAS, Mr. Ernesto Velasquez Dela Cruz peacefully joined his creator at the age of 71;

WHEREAS, “Kuya Ding” will always be remembered as an energetic individual, who is passionate to his work as a base employee, affectionate and responsible as the head of the family and a concerned brother to his church mates and his community;

WHEREAS, our Brother Ding will surely be missed by his former colleagues for his generosity, cheerful and loving ways that build in them a solid encouraging relationship;

WHEREAS, his high spirits of leadership and service has marked not only to the people he worked with but also with the entities where he has shown his productive skills such as in the Ship Repair Facilities at the former US Naval Base, the Olongapo City Water District, Boy Scouts of the Philippines, in his Church and so many civic activities aimed to reach the needy;

WHEREAS, his wife and children will never forget his profound commitment to prioritize the welfare of his family and those people who need help and care the most;

WHEREAS, the City joins the Dela Cruz Family in this momentary grief for having lost their Father and a Friend whom made life worth living;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to express, as it hereby expresses condolences to the bereaved family of Mr. Ernesto Dela Cruz and Recognizing his invaluable contributions to the City of Olongapo.
