RESOLUTION NO. 53
(Series of 2006)

A RESOLUTION AFFIRMING THE MEMBERSHIP OF MR. DOMINADOR M. DABU ON THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE GORDON COLLEGE

WHEREAS, the establishment of the Gordon College is in line with the mission – vision for a government run institution that provides quality tertiary education for the people of Olongapo;

WHEREAS, the School’s Board of Trustees which is composed of individuals with the academic and technical expertise needed by this institution for sound policy formulations and decisions, holds the responsibility of steering the college to its envisioned path and mission;
WHEREAS, Mr. Dominador M. Dabu was recommended by the City Mayor to be one of the Members of the Gordon College Board of Trustees;
WHEREAS, Mr. Dabu holds the degree of Bachelor of Science in Commerce, Major in Business Management. His work experience includes more than thirty-six (36) years in business and commerce, to wit: as a Supervisor at Lindayag, Inc. and Senior Manager at Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company. He is currently the Owner & General Manager of A1 Glass & Aluminum Supply and Consultant of Phil. Charter Insurance Corp. (MetroBank Group);

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,


RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, affirm, as it hereby affirms the membership of Mr. Dominador M. Dabu on the Board of Trustees of the Gordon College.
