RESOLUTION NO. 121

A RESOLUTION AFFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF
DR. JOSEPH ARNOLD C. LOPEZ AS CITY GOVERNMENT
DEPARTMENT HEAD II (CITY VETERINARIAN) SG-26
UNDER THE CITY VETERINARIAN’S OFFICE

WHEREAS, the City Mayor has appointed Dr. Joseph Arnold C. Lopez as City Department Head II, (City Veterinarian) City Veterinarian’s Office pursuant to Civil Service Laws, Rules and Regulations;

WHEREAS, Section 454(d) of Republic Act 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, provides that heads of departments shall be appointed by the City Mayor with the concurrence of the majority of all Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Angelina B. Andrada, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to affirm, as it hereby affirms the appointment of DR. JOSEPH ARNOLD C. LOPEZ as City Government Department Head II (City Veterinarian), SG-26 at the City Veterinarian’s Office which effects the appropriation in the amount of Two Hundred Seventy Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Two Pesos (PhP270,252.00) in the item City Government Department Head II under the account “Salaries” of the City Veterinarian’s Office.

RESOLVED FURTHER, AS IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED, that copies of this Resolution be furnished DR. ARNOLD C. LOPEZ and the Civil Service Commission thru the Personnel Office of the City of Olongapo for their information and reference.
