In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 52
(Series of 2006)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF
FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND (PHP500,000.00) FOR THE OLONGAPO
CITY SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAM

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The additional amount of Five Hundred Thousand Pesos (PhP500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Balance of the General Fund not otherwise appropriated and the same is hereby made available for the Olongapo City Skills Training Program under the Office of the City Mayor to wit:

Maintenance & Other Operating Expenses Amount
Training Expense PhP440,000.00

Capital Outlay
Other Machineries & Equipment 60,000.00

Total PhP500,000.00


SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The letter request of the Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr. dated October 3, 2006, a Certificate of Availability of Funds dated October 11, 2006 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer and Proposed Budget Requirement are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.
