A RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING THE TEN OUTSTANDING STUDENTS OF OLONGAPO CITY FOR WINNING THE GAWAD PARANGAL 2007 GIVEN BY THE YOUNG MEN’S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF OLONGAPO CITY (YMCA) TOGETHER WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION (DEPED)

WHEREAS, the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) and the Department of Education (DepEd) conducted its annual search for the GAWAD PARANGAL 2007 – Search for Ten Outstanding Students of Olongapo City;

WHEREAS, awardees were officially nominated by officials in public and private elementary and secondary schools in Olongapo City;

WHEREAS, the YMCA and the DepEd will bestow all awardees with the Medallion and Honor Certificates in recognition of their meritorious achievements, outstanding qualities and merits as well as their traits and characteristics which are worthy of emulation;

WHEREAS, the following student – champions displayed their determination to rise above the unchartered possibilities of the challenging student life to inspire their peers:

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Robine Rose C. Buenafe, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to congratulate, as it hereby congratulates the ten outstanding students of Olongapo City for winning the GAWAD PARANGAL 2007 given by the Young Men’s Christian Association of Olongapo City (YMCA) together with the Department of Education (DepEd).
