RESOLUTION NO. 62

A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING SINCEREST SYMPATHIES AND CONDOLENCES TO THE BEREAVED FAMILY OF MR. FELICISIMO S. GONZALES, PH. D., PUBLIC SCHOOLS DISTRICT SUPERVISOR AND RECOGNIZING HIS INVALUABLE CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION (DEPED)


WHEREAS, Mr. Felicisimo S. Gonzales died in the grace of our Lord on June 8, 2007 at the age of 60;

WHEREAS, Sir Gonzales has enriched the minds of the youth as a dedicated educator, committed to provide quality education to his students for the past forty (40) years. Beginning as an Elementary Grade I Teacher in 1967, he rose from the ranks as an Elementary School Head Teacher (1978 – 1989), then as School Principal, until he became a Public Schools District Supervisor, a position he held at the time of his death;

WHEREAS, he has lived the fullness of his life exemplifying the values of hardwork, determination and dedication to his profession. He will always be remembered as a good mentor, who left DepED with a legacy of excellence;

WHEREAS, the City of Olongapo joins the Gonzales Family in this moment of grief for the loss of a good man and prays that God’s enduring presence will be in their midst;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to express, as it hereby expresses sincerest sympathies and condolences to the bereaved family of Mr. Felicisimo S. Gonzales, Ph. D., Public Schools District Supervisor and recognizing his invaluable contributions to the Department Of Education (DepEd).

Let a copy of this Resolution be furnished the bereaved family of Dr. Felicisimo S. Gonzales for their information and record.
