WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Olongapo believes that Teambuilding and Lakbay-Aral programs will help build the Sangguniang Panlungsod Department into a potent cohesive team as well as aid them learn and replicate the best practices from other local government units they intend to visit;

WHEREAS, the aforesaid programs are of utmost importance and complementary to the developmental thrusts of the City;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Gina G. Perez, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 35

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF FIFTY THOUSAND PESOS (PHP50,000.00) FOR THE TEAM BUILDING/LAKBAY ARAL OF SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD MEMBERS AND STAFF

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Fifty Thousand Pesos (PhP50,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Balance of the General Fund not otherwise appropriated and the same is hereby made available to the item “Training Expense” under the Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) as fund support for the Team Building/Lakbay Aral of the Sangguniang Panlungsod Members and Staff.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.


SECTION 3. The Certificate of Availability of Funds dated August 15, 2007 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer is hereby made as integral part of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
