A RESOLUTION EXTENDING PROFOUND CONDOLENCES AND HEARTFELT PRAYERS TO THE FAMILY OF MR. RUBEN DE GUZMAN, BEREAVED WITH THE PASSING OF THEIR PATRIARCH, MR. JOSE DE GUZMAN


WHEREAS, Mr. Jose de Guzman or “Tatang”, as fondly called by his family and friends, peacefully joined his Creator on December 2, 2007 at the age of 93;

WHEREAS, Tatang’s endearing presence in the family whom he showered with so much love, kindness, respect and utmost care will truly be missed;

WHEREAS, the City sincerely sympathizes with the family of Mr. Ruben de Guzman for their sorrow and prays that they graciously move on from the irreparable loss of a loved one;

WHEREAS, the City joins the de Guzman family in recognizing and appreciating the life that “Tatang” has lived so well;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to extend, as it hereby extends profound condolences and heartfelt prayers to the family of Mr. Ruben de Guzman, bereaved with the passing of their patriarch, Mr. Jose de Guzman.

Let a copy of this Resolution be furnished the family of Mr. Ruben de Guzman for their information and record.
