In the interest of the public service and on motion of Councilor Aquilino Y. Cortez, Jr., with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 08
(Series of 2009)

AN ORDINANCE TEMPORARILY CLOSING A PORTION OF 21ST STREET, BETWEEN ELICAÑO AND FONTAINE STREETS INFRONT OF METRO SUBIC COLLEGE ON FEBRUARY 22, 2009 FROM 8:00 A.M. TO 5:00 P.M. AND FEBRUARY 23, 2009 FROM 7:00 A.M. TO 11:00 P.M FOR THE COMMUNITY SERVICE AND FOUNDATION DAY OF THE SAID INSTITUTION

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT :

SECTION 1. 21st Street between Elicaño and Fontaine Streets. is declared temporarily closed on February 22, 2009 from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and February 23, 2009 from 7:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M.

SECTION 2. The above-mentioned temporary closure is in line with the community service and Foundation Day of Metro Subic Colleges.

SECTION 3. Re – routing of vehicles to be outlined by the Office of the Traffic Management and Public Safety with the Barangay Public Safety Officer (BPSO) of Barangay East Bajac-Bajac is necessary during the said closure.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
