Pursuant to the provision of Republic Act 7160 otherwise known as the “Local government Code of 1991” and the provisions of Local Budget memorandum No. 57 issued by the Department of Budget and Management dated 11 July 2008 which specifically prescribe the guidelines in the preparation and submission of the Supplemental Budget.

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Jonathan G. Manalo with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 24
(Series of 2009)

AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF THIRTY-FOUR MILLION SEVEN HUNDRED TWENTY-SIX THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRED FORTY ONE PESOS AND FORTY THREE CENTAVOS (PHP34,726,441.43) AS SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2009

SECTION 1. The amount of Thirty-Four Million Seven Hundred Twenty-Six Thousand, Four Hundred Forty One Pesos and Forty Three Centavos (PhP34,726,441.43) is hereby approved and appropriated as Supplemental Budget for Calendar Year 2009 to the General Fund. The said amount shall be sourced and appropriated as follows:

Summary of Appropriations (See attached Supplemental Form No 2 for details)

SECTION 2. This appropriation Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The Supplemental Budget Form No.1(one page) and Form No. 2 (three pages) shall be made as integral parts of this Ordinance

SECTION 4. The appropriation for the Representation and Transportation Expense shall take effect retroactive in April 2009 while all other appropriation shall take effect upon its approval.
