RESOLUTION NO. 74
(Series of 2009)

A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING SORROW OVER THE PASSING AWAY OF MR. DANIEL ENGUELLO ABELLO AND CONDOLING WITH HIS BEREAVED FAMILY

WHEREAS, Daniel Eguello Abello, peacefully joined his creator on June 2, 2009 at the age of 57;

WHEREAS, Mr. Abello is known to be the man behind the big gatherings of the City, ensuring that the physical arrangements and preparations, table, chairs and equipment needed are in place and fit to the event. He was a dependable and reliable hand who worked with enthusiasm and diligence;

WHEREAS, “Danny” as he is known to many, has rendered genuine and dedicated 12 years of service at the Public Works Center, in the former U.S. naval base facility from 1980 to 1992, as a welder, mechanic and machinist, exemplifying his efficiency and skills;

WHEREAS, after the pull-out of the US Military bases in 1992, he joined the thousands of original volunteers who helped transform the former military base into a vibrant Freeport zone, until he was hired as head of the Transportation Division of the SBMA and later was hired as Consultant under the City Government of Olongapo unto his last breath;

WHEREAS, the people and the City Government join the Abello Family in condoling to the loss of Mr. Danny Abello and pray that they graciously move on in this moment of grief;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to express, as it hereby expresses, sorrow over the passing away of Mr. Daniel Enguello Abello and condoling with his bereaved family.

Let a copy of this Resolution be furnished the bereaved family of Mr. Daniel E. Abello for their information and record.
