RESOLUTION NO. 79

A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE SISTER SCHOOL STATUS BETWEEN THE UNIVERSITY OF MAKATI AND GORDON COLLEGE, IN A MANNER CONSISTENT WITH LAW

WHEREAS, the city consistently encourages partnerships or tie-ups between industry and Gordon College as a means of expanding the knowledge base and resources of Gordon College through knowledge sharing or capacity building initiatives;

WHEREAS, the University of Makati is a renowned public educational institution with successful programs especially for the underprivileged and marginalized sectors in Makati City and has manifested its desire for a sister school status with Gordon College in dialogues with its university administration which has been mutually agreed upon;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of city Councilor Eyrma Yvette Marzan-Estrella, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to accept, as it hereby accepts the sister school status between the University of Makati and Gordon College, in a manner consistent with law.
