WHEREAS, the celebration of the 150^th Year of the Red Cross Movement was moved to January 17, 2014 from the original date on November 24, 2013;

WHEREAS,  area for road closure is changed to cover from Fendler Street up to the corner of Hansen Street instead of the mentioned temporary closure to traffic to start from Gallagher Street up to Hansen Street in Section 1 of Ordinance No. 24, Series of 2013;

WHEREAS, titled of Ordinance No. 24, Series of 2013 read as:  “An Ordinance Temporarily Closing Portion Of Magsaysay Drive From The Corner Of Gallagher Street Up To The Corner Of Hansen Street To Traffic On November 24, 2013, From 8:00 A.M. To 8:00 P.M. As Venue For The 150^th Year Celebration Of The Red Cross Movement, Subject To Pertinent Laws”;

WHEREAS,  Section 1 of Ordinance No. 24, Series of 2013 reads as: “Magsaysay Drive from the corner of Gallagher Street up to the corner of Hansen Street is hereby temporarily closed to traffic on November 24, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.”

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City  Councilor Aquilino Y. Cortez, Jr.,   with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

               

 RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 03

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING  ORDINANCE NO 24, SERIES OF 2013 INTO  “AN ORDINANCE TEMPORARILY CLOSING PORTION OF MAGSAYSAY DRIVE FROM THE CORNER OF FENDLER STREET UP TO THE CORNER OF HANSEN STREET TO TRAFFIC ON JANUARY 17, 2014, FROM 8:00 A.M. TO 8:00 P.M. AS VENUE FOR THE 150^TH YEAR CELEBRATION OF THE RED CROSS MOVEMENT, SUBJECT TO PERTINENT LAWS”

                BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1.  Magsaysay Drive from the corner of Fendler Street up to the corner of Hansen Street is hereby temporarily closed to traffic on January 17, 2014  from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

SECTION 2.  The above- mentioned   temporary closure is in line with the 150^th Year Anniversary of the Red Cross Movement

SECTION 3.  Re–routing of vehicles to be outlined by the Office of the Traffic Management and Public Safety is necessary during the said closure.

 SECTION 4.  This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
