A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MAYOR, HON. ROLEN C. PAULINO TO ENTER, EXECUTE AND SIGN THE RENEWAL OF THE MUTUAL ACCREDITATION AGREEMENT, FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE JAMES L. GORDON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL (JLGMH), THIS CITY WITH GENERALI PILIPINAS LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY, INCORPORATED REPRESENTED BY ITS SENIOR EXECUTIVE VICE- PRESIDENT AND GROUP INSURANCE BUSINESS HEAD, MA. SHARON B. MARANAN,  IN A MANNER CONSISTENT WITH LAW

WHEREAS, Generali Pilipinas Life Assurance Company, Incorporated, is a company engaged in the promotion and marketing of its health care programs consisting of preventive health care, in-patient and out-patient services;

WHEREAS, the James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital (JLGMH) is a tertiary medical facility owned by the local government of Olongapo City;

WHEREAS, the aforesaid company can only accomplish its tasks through its accreditation to a hospital that provides prime medical facility and quality care, such as the James L. Gordon Mamorial Hospital;

WHEREAS, pursuant to City Council Resolution No. 60, Series of 2011 duly approved on July 4, 2011, Generali Pilipinas Life Assurance Company, Incorporated entered into a Memorandum of Agreement with the City for accreditation and credit service agreement; 

WHEREAS, Generali Pilipinas Assurance Company, Incorporated has sought the renewal of its accreditation agreement with the City, while binding itself to comply with all requirements set under local and national laws;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Eduardo G. Guerrero, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the City Mayor, Honorable Rolen C. Paulino, to enter, execute and sign the renewal of the Mutual Accreditation Agreement, for and on behalf of the James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital (JLGMH), this City with Generali Pilipinas Life Assurance Company, Incorporated represented by its Senior Executive Vice President and Group Insurance Business Head, Ma. Sharon B. Maranan, in a manner consistent with law.
