ABSENT:

            None.

WHEREAS, there is a need to restructure the operations and implementation of the  purchase of medicines and supplies at the hospital pharmacy and laboratory; and the repair, maintenance and/or replacements of revenue generating equipment under the JLGMH.

WHEREAS, these accounts were previously set-up under Revolving Fund and Trust Fund.

            NOW, THEREFORE,  on motion of City Councilor  Elena C. Dabu, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the  Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

AN ORDINANCE CREATING / ESTABLISHING A SPECIAL ACCOUNT OF VARIOUS INCOME UNDER JAMES L. GORDON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL (JLGMH)

 BE  IT  ORDAINED,  BY  THE  SANGGUNIANG   PANLUNGSOD  IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1.  A Special Account for the James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital  (JLGMH) is hereby created/ established to be kept in the City Treasury.

SECTION 2.  Income, Interests, Fees and Charges. This account shall include the income  from the revenue generating equipment, and the interest, charges and fees derived from the operations of the James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital (JLGMH)  placed in the Revolving and Trust Fund.

                                                                       

SECTION 3.  Disbursement.  The Special Account shall solely be used for the James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital operations, maintenance and purchases.

SECTION 4.  This ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 5.  Repealing Clause. Any ordinances in conflict with any provisions hereof shall be deemed repealed or modified accordingly.

SECTION 6.  This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
