A RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING AND RECOGNIZING MAR JULIUS H. GOMEZ AS OUTSTANDING CAMPUS JOURNALIST OF THE PHILIPPINES AWARDED

DURING THE NATIONAL SCHOOLS PRESS CONFERENCE

(NSPC) HELD IN TAGUIG CITY

WHEREAS, the National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) is the highest competition for journalism in both private and public elementary and high schools in the Philippines;

WHEREAS, Mar Julius H. Gomez, a grade ten student of Regional Science High School, was awarded as one of the most outstanding campus journalist of the year in the recently concluded NSPC held on April 12-17, 2015 at Taguig University, Taguig City;

WHEREAS, Mar Julius H. Gomez is the only child of Haydee Fay H. Gomez and Marianito G. Gomez a consistent first honor student, who started as Editor-in-Chief of the “Eagle Wings”, the official English School Paper of Olongapo Wesley School in his elementary years, and is presently the Editor-in-Chief of “The Eagle”, the official English School paper of the Regional Science High School;

WHEREAS, prior to the NSPC National Award, Mr. Gomez  competed among the  campus journalists in the Region, bagging the most outstanding campus journalist in Region III awarded last October 30, 2014 at Angeles, Pampanga;

WHEREAS, the City Government of Olongapo is very proud of his achievement and God-given talent in campus journalism;

            NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

  

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to congratulate and recognize, as it hereby congratulates and recognizes Mar Julius H. Gomez as Outstanding Campus Journalist of the Philippines Awarded during the National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) Held In Taguig City
