In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Rexy Gregorio-Cruz, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 140 (Series of 2003)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY THOUSAND PESOS (PHP670,000.00) FOR CAPITAL OUTLAY - OTHER TRANSPORTATION EQUIPMENT UNDER THE OFFICE OF THE CITY MAYOR

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Six Hundred Seventy Thousand Pesos (PhP670,OOO.OO) is hereby appropriated to be taken from the accumulated Traffic Violation Fees under the Trust Fund Account and is hereby made available for Capital Outlay - Other Transportation Equipment under the Office of the City Mayor

SECTION 2. This appropriation Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of the Honorable City Mayor Katherine H. Gordon, dated November 19, 2003 and the Certificate of Availability of Funds dated November 19,2003 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
