In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Rexy Gregorio-Cruz, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 150 (Series of 2003)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF SEVEN MILLION THREE HUNDRED THIRTY THOUSAND PESOS (PHP7,330,000.00) UNDER THE ACCOUNT EXTRA CASH GIFT

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSElVIBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Seven Million Three Hundred Thirty Thousand Pesos (PhP7,330,OOO.OO) is hereby appropriated under the account "Extra Cash Gift" per department which will allocate PhP5,OOO.OO per employee, to be taken from the unappropriated balance of the General Fund and made available for appropriations under the "Personal Services" of the respective departments to wit:

SECTION 2. This appropriation Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of the Honorable City Mayor Katherine H. Gordon, dated December 03, 2003 and the Certificate of Availability of Funds dated December 03, 2003 issued by Mr. Marcelino D Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
