In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Rexy Gregorio-Cruz, with the unanimous accord of the Members" of the Sangguniang Panlungosd present,

RESOLVED, AS IT HEREBY RESOL YED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod is session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 163 (Series of 2003)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (PHPIOO,OOO.OO) AS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE PROVINCE OF LEYTE

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of One Hundred Thousand Pesos (PhPlOO,OOOOO) is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Balance of the General Fund, not otherwise appropriated and the same is hereby made available as Financial Assistance for the landslide victims in Southern Leyte.

SECTION 2. This appropnatlon Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of the Honorable City Mayor Katherine H. Gorgon, dated December 22, 2003, and the Certificate of Availability of Funds dated December 22, 2003 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.
