In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 05
(Series of 2006)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF SIX HUNDRED
THOUSAND PESOS (PHP600,000.00) TO THE ITEM DONATIONS – PHILIPPINE NATIONAL RED CROSS UNDER MAINTENANCE
& OTHER OPERATING EXPENSES OF THE OFFICE OF THE
CITY MAYOR


BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Six Hundred Thousand Pesos (PhP600,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Balance of the General Fund, not otherwise appropriated and the same is hereby made available to the Item Donations – Philippine National Red Cross under Maintenance & Other Operating Expenses of the Office of the City Mayor.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of the Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr., dated January 26, 2006, letter of Madam Amelia J. Gordon, Chairman, PNRC – Olongapo City Chapter dated January 23, 2006 and a Certificate of Availability of Funds dated February 01, 2006 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
