RESOLUTION NO. 107
(Series of 2006)

A RESOLUTION REQUESTING SUBIC BAY METROPOLITAN AUTHORITY (SBMA)
TO DONATE FURNITURES AND FIXTURES FOR WOMENS CENTER IN LINE
WITH THE TRASH TO CASH PROGRAM OF SBMA


WHEREAS, the Office of the City Mayor, has been informed that the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) has “disposable” 875 Each of Electric Blankets, 4 bundles of Empty Sacks, 15 Boxes of Assorted Books, 2 Traffic Outpost, Furniture, Beddings and Cabinets for Olongapo City that are classified as ready for immediate disposition to avert further dilapidation of Subic Bay Freeport Zone;

WHEREAS, the foresaid materials will surely be helpful in the city government’s various social service program especially the Womens Center;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Bella P. Asuncion with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HERREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to request, as it hereby requests Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) to donate furnitures and fixtures for Womens Center in line with the trash to cash program of SBMA;

RESOLVED, FURTHER, AS IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED, that authority be given to the City Mayor, Hon. James Gordon, Jr., to represent the City in requesting the donation from SBMA and to sign the appropriate Deed of Donation case SBMA approves the said request.
