RESOLUTION NO. 109
(Series of 2006)

A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING WELCOME AND FELICITATIONS TO THE DELEGATES OF THE 6TH LUZON ISLAND CONGRESS OF THE PHILIPPINES COUNCILORS LEAGUE

WHEREAS, the Philippine Councilors League will hold their 6th Luzon Island congress on may 24 to 26, 2006 at Legend Hotel, Subic Bay Freeport Zone with the theme “Pagkakaisa : Susi as Pag-uunlad ng Bansa”;

WHEREAS, Olongapo City, together with the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, stand honored to be part of the largest gathering and network of legislators where communities draw fresh inputs, learn new strategies, base and replicate laudable practices from;

WHEREAS, it is of equal distinction to welcome the delegates of the said momentous convergence and to be significantly instrumental in empowering the local government units each delegate represent, towards the fulfillment of the ultimate purpose of the PCL Island Congress;

NOW, THEREFORE, upon the unanimous accord of the members of Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to express, as it hereby expresses welcome and felicitations to the delegates of the 6th Luzon Island Congress of the Philippines Councilors League.
