RESOLUTION NO. 125
(Series of 2005)

A RESOLUTION INTERPOSING NO OBJECTION TO THE INSTALLATION AND OPERATION OF GLOBE TELECOMMUNICATIONS, INC. (GLOBE) CELLSITE/GSM ANTENNA LOCATED AT NO. 97 GORDON AVENUE,
NEW KALALAKE, OLONGAPO CITY

WHEREAS, GLOBE TELECOMMUNICATIONS, INC. (GLOBE) a corporation duly organized and existing under Philippine Laws, with principal office located at 5th Floor Globe Telecom Plaza, Pioneer Street, Mandaluyong City thru their official Site Acquisition Contractor Wireless Technology Solution applied for a permit to allow the construction, installation and operation of a Globe Cellular Antenna located at No. 97, Gordon Avenue, New Kalalake, Olongapo City;

WHEREAS, with Globe’s well-known capability of providing world class telecommunication system that produces seamless cellular coverage and accessibility, residents and subscribers of Globe Telecom in the City and adjoining areas will be assured of uninterrupted link to personal and business communications;

WHEREAS, Olongapo Telecom and IT Board was created under City Ordinance No. 24, Series of 2004 and Executive Order No. 84-A, Series of 2005 with its duties and functions defined to implement Guidelines, Rules and Regulations under Sangguniang Panlungsod Resolution No. 13, Series of 2005;

WHEREAS, Wireless Technology Solution had presented to the Olongapo Telecom and IT Board the necessary documents that warrants the approval of the Board for them to proceed with their application and had accomplished other pertinent requirements for the approval of the same;

WHEREAS, Barangay New Kalalake, after public consultation and submission of signed neighbors’ consent, passed Resolution 006, Series of 2006, approving the said request and placed on record that no objection had been noted for the said construction;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Edwin J. Piano, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;
RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to interpose, as it hereby interposes no objection to the installation and operation of Globe Telecommunications, Inc. (GLOBE) Cellsite/GSM Antenna located at No. 97 Gordon Avenue, Barangay New Kalalake, Olongapo City;

RESOLVED FURTHER, AS IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED, that Barangay Resolution No. 006, Series of 2006 and a copy of the signed neighbors’ consent be made as integral parts of this Resolution.

Let copies of this Resolution be furnished to Aerial and Cables Inc., Globe Telecommunications, Inc. (GLOBE), SBMA Telecommunications Department and National Telecommunications Commission for their information and record.
