RESOLUTION NO. 235
(Series of 2006)

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MAYOR OF OLONGAPO TO ACCEPT THE AMOUNT OF THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (PHP300,000.00) FROM SUBIC BAY METROPOLITAN AUTHORITY TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSES OF BARANGAY MEDICAL MISSION AND OTHER INDIGENCY PROGRAM OF OLONGAPO AS PART OF ITS SOCIAL AMELIORATION PROGRAM


WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) had earmarked and set – aside the amount of three hundred thousand pesos (PhP300,000.00) for the social amelioration program of the City;

WHEREAS, for the aforesaid cash grant/donation of the SBMA, the City hereby authorizes the City Mayor to accept it to fund the barangay medical mission and other indigency program of Olongapo;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the City Mayor of Olongapo to accept the amount of three hundred thousand pesos (PhP300,000.00) from Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority to defray the expenses of barangay medical mission and other indigency program of Olongapo as part of its social amelioration program.
