WHEREAS, businessmen requested extension for renewal of business permit until February 28, 2007 in order to give ample time to pay for their licenses and gather necessary requirements to secure a Mayor’s Permit;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 08
(Series of 2007)

AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE PAYMENT OF BUSINESS PERMIT UP TO FEBURARY 28, 2007


BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The renewal of Mayor’s Permit for Business Establishments is hereby extended up to February 28, 2007.

SECTION 2. All concerned City Government offices and barangay officials are enjoined to take part for the massive information dissemination of this Ordinance.

SECTION 3. All penalties made between January 21 and date of approval of this Ordinance shall be deemed made as advance payment.

SECTION 4 This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
