A RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING ESSENCE JOY PORTACIO FOR WINNING THE PRESTIGIOUS JOSEPHINE E. NAVA CUP JNM SWIM MEET IN THE GIRLS 15 AND UNDER EVENT
HELD LAST JANUARY 13, 2007 AT LINGAYEN, PANGASINAN


WHEREAS, young contingents from the City earned crowns in the recently held Josephine E. Nava Cup JNM Swim Meet last January 13, 2007 at Lingayen, Pangasinan;

WHEREAS, Essence Joy Portacio, the City’s representative for the Girls 15 and Under Swimming Event captured 2 golds, 3 silvers and I bronze in the said competition;

WHEREAS, with her discipline and hardwork amidst extensive training, Essence Joy gave her best glides that made her also captivate the much-coveted Most Valuable Player award;

WHEREAS, the City is proud of her accomplishment that will surely serve as an inspiration to the young populace of the City to involve in worthwhile activities such as sports;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to congratulate, as it hereby congratulates Essence Joy Portacio for winning the prestigious Josephine E. Nava Cup JNM Swim Meet in the Girls 15 and Under Event held last January 13, 2007 at Lingayen, Pangasinan.
