In the interest of public service and motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 16
(Series of 2007)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE OF ONE HUNDRED THIRTY TWO THOUSAND PESOS (PHP132,000.00) TO THE ITEM SUBSIDY TO NGOs-SENIOR CITIZEN UNDER MAINTENANCE AND OTHER OPERATING EXPENSES OF THE OFFICE OF THE CITY MAYOR TO BE TAKEN FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE OF THE GENERAL FUND

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of One Hundred Thirty Two Thousand Pesos (PhP132,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Balance of the General Fund not otherwise appropriated and the same is hereby made available to the item Subsidy to NGOs-Senior Citizen under Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses of the Office of the City Mayor for the honorarium/allowance of the Senior Citizens Federation Officers

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.


SECTION 3. The pertinent letter-request of the Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr., dated 19 March 2007, letter of Ms. Genia R. Eclarino, City Social Welfare & Development Officer, dated 11 January 2007 and a Certificate of Availability of Funds dated April 10, 2007 issued by Mr. Marcelino C. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance
