In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Gina G. Perez, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 30
(Series of 2007)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF FORTY EIGHT THOUSAND PESOS (P48,000.00) FOR THE PHILIPPINE COUNCILORS LEAGUE AND VICE-MAYORS LEAGUE OF THE PHILIPPINES MEMBERSHIP AND REGISTRATION FEES TO BE TAKEN FROM THE GENERAL FUND.

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Forty Eight Thousand Pesos (PhP48,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Balance of the General Fund not otherwise appropriated and the same is hereby made available to the Philippine Councilors League (PCL) and Vice-Mayors League of the Philippines membership and registration fees.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter-request to the Honorable City Mayor James Gordon Jr. dated 26 July 2007, and a Certificate of Availability of Funds dated August 7, 2007 issued by Mr. Marcelino C. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.


SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
