RESOLUTION NO. 99

A RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING AND RECOGNIZING BARANGAY STA. RITA FOR WINNING THE REGIONAL GAWAD KALASAG AS THE BEST BARANGAY DISASTER COORDINATING COUNCIL IN REGION III

WHEREAS, Barangay Sta. Rita Rescue Team is the recipient of the Regional Gawad Kalasag for being adjudged as the Best Barangay Disaster Coordinating Council in the whole Region III;

WHEREAS, Barangay Sta. Rita, bested the regional finals for the best prepared unit to deal with emergencies and providing humanitarian assistance to affected communities due to disasters and calamities;

WHEREAS, trained personnel with profound dedication for service, the Barangay Sta. Rita Rescue Team responded to almost all emergency situations within the bounds of the barangay and sometimes on neighboring barangays;

WHEREAS, Barangay Sta. Rita outshined all the barangays in the whole Region III as excellent in Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance;

WHEREAS, Barangay Sta. Rita takes great pride on this another feather on the hat and salutes the courage of Barangay Sta. Rita Rescue Team in standing on the frontline of disasters and emergencies with sheer commitment to save lives, alleviate sufferings and mitigate further destruction of lives and properties;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Rodel S. Cerezo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;


RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to congratulate and recognize, as it hereby congratulates and recognizes, Barangay Sta. Rita For Winning The Regional Gawad Kalasag As The Best Barangay Disaster Coordinating Council Region III.
