In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Edwin J. Piano, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 50
(Series of 2007)

AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING TWO (2) COTERMINOUS POSITIONS OF ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT V (PRIVATE SECRETARY I) UNDER THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD PLANTILLA

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1. Two (2) coterminous positions of Administrative Assistant V (Private Secretary I) are hereby established under the Sangguniang Panlungsod to meet the staffing needs of the said department.

SECTION 2. The funds for the aforesaid coterminous positions shall be sourced from the Casual Plantilla Positions of Private Secretary I and Local Legislative Staff Assistant III and other funds saved by the Sangguniang Panlungsod.

SECTION 3. Salaries/wages and other benefits due for the said two (2) positions shall be retroactive effective July 1, 2007.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
