In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Marey Beth D. Marzan, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlaungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 56
(Series of 2007)

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 22, SERIES OF 2007,OTHERWISE KNOW AS “THE ECCD INVESTMENT PLAN” SPECIFICALLY SECTION 4 – APPROPRIATIONS

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. Section 4 of Ordinance No. 22, Series of 2007 shall be amended as follows:

APPROPRIATIONS. The amount of Eight Million Pesos (PhP8,000,000.00) shall be appropriated to the ECCD investment plan under the Trust Fund Account from the following sources: Five Million Pesos (PhP5,000,000.00) shall come from the National Government through the Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC/NECCDCC) and the Regional Sub Committee for the Welfare of Children (RSCWC); and the remaining Three Million Pesos (PhP3,000,000.00) from the Unappropriated Balance of the City General Fund as subsidy to ECCD at One Million Pesos (PhP1,000,000.00) annually for the Calendar Year 2007, 2008 and 2009.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
