In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Gina Gulanes-Perez, with the majority decision of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 61
(Series of 2007)

AN ORDINANCE IMPLEMENTING TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF MAGSAYSAY DRIVE FROM NOVEMBER 22, 6:00 AM TO NOVEMBER 25, 2007, 12:00 MIDNIGHT FOR THE MARDIGRAS REMIXED II

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:


SECTION 1. Ramon Magsaysay Drive is declared temporarily closed from November 22, 6:00 am to November 25, 2007, 12:00 midnight.

SECTION 2. The above temporary closed road will be used for the Mardigras Remixed II on November 22, 23 and 24.

SECTION 3. Olongapo Business Club is the official organizer and will spearhead the aforementioned activity and the maintenance of public safety on the said dates.

SECTION 4. The Office of Traffic Management and Public Safety will recommend the necessary routing of vehicles during the said temporary closure.

SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
