A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE SUBIC BAY METROPOLITAN AUTHORITY (SBMA) AND SUBIC FREEPORT LOCATORS TO DONATE SCRAP MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT TO THE CITY OF OLONGAPO FOR VARIOUS LIVELIHOOD AND SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAM

WHEREAS, Olongapo City and the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority as well as the Freeport locators had long standing partnerships in various developmental endeavors;

WHEREAS, the SBMA has goods, materials and equipment stored at various warehouses/yards which are not being utilized and will be better off donated to Olongapo City Government for beneficial use of its residents;

WHEREAS, Freeport locators, on the other hand, can directly help the city programs by donating their scrap materials/equipment and other reusable items;

WHEREAS, the aforesaid materials can be better used for poverty alleviation and livelihood/ skills training of the Olongapo City Government;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Edwin J. Piano and co-sponsored by Gina G. Perez, John Carlos G. delos Reyes, Rodel S. Cerezo, Angelito W. Baloy, Aquilino Y. Cortez, Jr., Anselmo A. Aquino, Elena C. Dabu, Carlito A. Baloy and Cheenee F. Hoya with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to request, as it hereby requests the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) and Subic Freeport Locators to Donate Scrap Materials and Equipment to the City Of Olongapo for Various Livelihood and Skills Training Program.

Let copies of this Resolution be furnished the Chairman and Administrator of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority and other Subic Bay Freeport Locators for their information and action.
