RESOLUTION NO. 89

A RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) ENTERED INTO BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF OLONGAPO REPRESENTED BY MAYOR JAMES GORDON, JR. WITH P.R. INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ENTERPRISE, INC. REPRESENTED BY ITS PRESIDENT ALEXANDER ZUSIK

WHEREAS, P.R. International Development Enterprises, a duly registered corporation aims to develop deluxe tourist complex and deluxe tourist condo villas and other tourism infrastructure in Olongapo City;

WHEREAS, Olongapo City, as one of the major tourist destinations in the country welcomes the planned investment of PR International Development Enterprise that will further boost the tourism industry in the city and will eventually create job opportunities to the people of Olongapo;

WHEREAS, Olongapo City and PR International Development Enterprise mutually signed a memorandum of understanding for the realization of the proposed tourism projects that will be developed in the city;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Edwin J. Piano, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to ratify, as it hereby ratifies, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) entered into by and between the City Government of Olongapo represented by Mayor James Gordon, Jr. with P.R. International Development Enterprise, Inc. Represented by its President Alexander Zusik.

RESOLVED FURTHER, AS IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED, that the signed notarized copy of the MOU be attached to this Resolution.
