RESOLUTION NO. 104

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR JAMES GORDON, JR. TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT OF AFFILIATION (COA) BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF OLONGAPO AND LYCEUM SUBIC BAY REPRESENTED BY ITS PRESIDENT AND CEO ALFONSO E. BORDA FOR THE AFFILIATION AND TRAINING OF ITS NURSING STUDENTS AT THE JAMES L. GORDON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

WHEREAS, the City Government of Olongapo has consistently played a major part in worthwhile affiliations for the benefit of its populace;

WHEREAS, Lyceum Subic Bay, represented by its President and CEO Alfonso E. Borda, has expressed its earnest intention to affiliate with James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital through the City Government for the training of its Nursing Students in fulfillment of their course requirements;

WHEREAS, Lyceum Subic Bay further accedes to disburse to the City an Affiliation Fee based on Administrative Order No. 5-A, Series of 1996 of the Department of Health;

WHEREAS, cognizant of the benefits of the proposed affiliation, this august body considers it favorable to bestow authority to the Local Chief Executive to participate in such undertaking;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Jonathan G. Manalo co-sponsored by Councilor Angelito W. Baloy, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor James Gordon Jr. to enter into a Contract of Affiliation (COA) by and between the City Government of Olongapo and Lyceum Subic Bay, represented by its President and CEO Alfonso E. Borda for the affiliation and training of its Nursing Students at the James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital.
