RESOLUTION NO. 02

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING/APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF ONE MILLION TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (PHP1,200,000.00) AS TEMPORARY ADVANCES FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE OF THE GENERAL FUND TO SPECIAL EDUCATION FUND

WHEREAS, the collection of Real Property Tax is not enough to cover payment of the Cost of Leaving Allowance (COLA) of public school teachers in the city for the period June – December 2009;

WHEREAS, as soon as the collection is sufficient, the same shall be applied as re-payment of the amount advanced from the general fund.

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Jonathan G. Manalo, with the majority decision of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the transfer of One Million Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (P1,200,000.00) as temporary advances from the unappropriated balance of the General Fund to Special Education Fund.
