WHEREAS, the members of the Local Development Council of the City of Olongapo had convened and formulated the 2010 Annual Investment Plan on December 1, 2009, held at the FMA Hall, Olongapo City Hall Complex;

WHEREAS, the process of formal revision of the 2010 AIP to accommodate projects deemed vital to the welfare and interest of the citizenry is a good governance practice of transparency and an optimum utilization of scarce public resources;

WHEREAS, the Local Development Council convened again on June 8, 2010 to review the 2010 Annual Investment Plan and collectively made amendments to accommodate projects and programs within the realm of the strategic plans of the city, namely the HELPS Program and the City Development Strategy (CDS) and consistent with the Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Programs of the national government;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Gina G. Perez, with the unanimous accord of the members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following ordinance:

AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE REVISED 2010 ANNUAL INVESTMENT PLAN OF THE CITY OF OLONGAPO, AS APPROVED AND SUBMITTED BY THE LOCAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL, CHARGEABLE TO THE TWENTY PERCENT (20%) DEVELOPMENT FUND OF THE CITY’S CY 2010 BUDGET

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. Copy of the said approved Revised Annual Investment Plan of Olongapo City be made as integral part of this Ordinance.
